Youth Groups
St Andrew's are proud to offer so many enriching groups for children and young adults. Our full-time Youth Officer, Ruth Dutton, ensures that every group is focused on teamwork, excitment and faith. Below, we've put a little information about just some of these groups. If you would like to know more information, just contact us.

Baby and Toddler
The Baby and Toddler group meets Monday and Thursday mornings at 9:30am till 11:30am. Children and parents can enjoy lots of play, crafts, activities, music and story times. Refreshments are available with an entry of £1 per adult. Why not come along, we meet at St Andrew's Community Hall, Longhurst Rd, Higher Blackley.

Jigsaw 1
Jigsaw 1 is designed for 6-9 year olds (school years 2-5) meeting in the church Parish Room, during school terms on Mondays from 6pm till 7pm. Children can enjoy Games, Bible stories and exploration, crafts, refreshments, and regular trips.
Jigsaw 2
Jigsaw 2 is designed for 10-12 year olds (school years 6-7) meeting in the church Parish Room, during school terms on Mondays from 7:30pm till 8:30pm. Kids can enjoy games, checking out Christianity, refreshments, and regular trips.
Boys and Girls' Club
Boys and Girls' Club is for teenagers aged 12 and over (school years 8+) and meet on Wednesdays in St Andrew's Church from 7:00pm till 8:30pm. Meetings are packed with games, sports, pool, table top football, table tennis, games console, refreshments, and regular trips.
Deeper
Deeper is a house group for 16+ year olds. Meeting on Thursdays, 7:30pm till 10:30pm, they share a meal and a reflective Bible study.

Youth Prayers
This is a prayer group meeting in the Parish Room on Fridays from 6:45pm till 7:30pm. This is ideal for seperating a section of time to reflect and pray with others in a relaxed setting.

Chimp Chillers
The Chimps are a collection of young adults of senior school and college age. They meet in the church Parish room from 7:30pm till 9:00pm for games, a chill and refreshments.
16+
Hence the name, this group is open to everyone aged 16 and above meeting after the Sunday evening service fortnightly. The group attend the church Service and take part in activities and food.

Sunday Morning Services
St Andrew's accomodates for all ages during the Sunday Morning Services in church. Pre-school aged children enjoy playing, colouring and reading books, Primary school children join in breakfast together followed by Bible stories and exploration and games. Senior school young adults and above also meet for breakfast and later explore Christianity further.

The Children's groups meet in church on the second, third, and fifth Sunday of the month, then leave for their own groups. On the fourth Sunday, children meet in their groups and later join the service for communion.

Please note that childrens' groups don't meet on the first Sunday of the month, rather everyone joins in All Age Communion in Church.
