Who Are We?
Well...this is a tough question! :-\
I suppose here at Saint Andrew's there isn't really one definition of who we are.
We are Christians.
We are "Blackley-erians".
We are just regular people.
We welcome the membership and the ministry of all people, regardless of race, disability, gender, age or sexuality.
We come in a wild range of shapes, sizes, colours, genders, and ages. We'd be lying if we said we're all in our golden years, but we're not all wacky arm-flailing spring chickens either.
In fact, if you met one of us on the street you'd probably think we're just ordinary - but we do have an extraordinary thing going on - something that we all share and are part of, and something that you're always welcome to come and explore.
"Hmmm.. What is it?" I hear you mutter down your broadband line. Well, it's not a new thing, or an especially in-your-face kind of thing, but it's pretty darn obvious when you think about it.
This thing is something called faith. It's faith in a reason, a belief in something which goes beyond what we see and hear in front of us...
It's this faith that we all share, one which you can explore. Go on...
...take a look...
Homework...
Describe yourself in one sentence. Who are you?
