Our Mission
The word mission is often associated with spies or army people, but for us it's something slightly different.
We have the good news that the creator of the universe has something he would like to say to you! This is really exciting stuff right here and is most certainly something to shout about. When we say mission, we're saying that we are so passionate and enthusiastic to share this news with you that we've got together and laid down some plans for spreading a little goodness, or god-ness (like that? it's kind of like a pun or something).
So what are these plans? Well, we love Blackley and we're trying hard to centre ourselves at the talk of the town by engaging with our local community and running special events and activities.
We visit schools, hospitals, homes, streets, well - pretty much everywhere to try and meet people in the area, introduce ourselves and show them that we're regular people who meet in a little building at the top of a hill and that the doors are open if they want to say "hi".
We also have more specific missions within groups. For example, this website has a mission - to give you a taster and an appetite to get in touch and learn more. If you're reading this now the job is to get you to stay and take a look around and share through these pages a little of who we are.
