The Mothers' Union
The Mothers' Union at Saint Andrew's is very much at the heart of the community here in Blackley. With two annual coffee mornings held in the Saint Andrew's Community Hall, one at Mothering Sunday and one near Christmas, the Mothers' Union are involved in many local and international causes.
The MU at Saint Andrew's attend many events and conferences at the Diocese, as well as participate in the Whit Walks in Manchester City Centre.
Members of the Mothers' Union are usually those who are in the family of Saint Andrews, however they are very welcoming and friendly and would love to hear from anybody wishing to join them. You do not have to be a mother, or married, or even female, so if you'd like to participate in all the exciting events, attend their thought provoking sessions, then the Mother's Union at Saint Andrew's may be just up your alley.
Meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of each month (except January and February) at 8:00pm in the church Parish Room.
